This ammo was made for an export military contract that was not fulfilled, and was diverted to the US commercial market. This is M855 (steel core) ammo but no green paint on the tip due to contract specifications. The ammo has sealed case mouth and primer pocket and was made to full mil-spec protocols. Headstamp has CLA due to the contract it was made for but the ammo was 100% made and loaded at the Lake City facility.
