I recently bought the new Tikka T3x CTR in 6.5 Creedmore coupled with a Nightforce super-long-range tactical scope. I don't mean to sound snobby, but I prefer to buy the absolute best ammo for my guns regardless of cost...I discovered QUICKLY that going on the cheap is worse in 100 ways than just buying the absolute best for each gunI own. Having said that: (I heard Hornady just released a new, 143 grain super match grade Creedmore round that allegedly outperforms this one...but I can't find it) These rounds are so wickedly, consistently, and utterly predidictably accurate at 100, 200, & 300 yards (I realize that a big % of this accuracy should be credited to the Sako made upgraded Tikka T3x CTR because it reportedly has the finest barrel/action & other advances...5 altogether...than just about every production rifle on the market today. Those Finnish guys got it right!) that I actually stopped even going for the bullseye at all 3 distances because the shots are too easy!! It's not even a challenge...silly child's play. Instead I place 30-50 Nickle-sized "dots" all over a large white target and take 1 shot only at each dot using this product. THE ONLY REASON I MISS...AND I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT...IS IF I MAKE A TINY ERROR IN TRIGGER PULL OR ANOTHER "ANTICIPATION ERROR" NOT BECAUSE OF THIS ROUND! How do I know this? 500+ rounds at the range using this ammo vs just 4-5 boxes of high-end brand name match grade "identical" ammo results EVERY TIME in disorganized, almost random (missed embarrassingly) shot placements that (after using this ammo) ABSOLUTELY BOGGLE THE MIND THAT I AM NOT IN THE BULLSEYE/PUTTING HOLES THROUGH DOTS! It's infuriating that ALL of Hornady's match grade Creedmore ammo go directly where I tell them to go...yet every other high-end match grade Creedmore round seems no more accurate than throwing rocks at targets 100-300 yards away!! Moral of my story: At least using my Sako/Tikka T3x CTR rifle with front bipod & nice leather stabilizer under the end of the stock for max stabilization...until I try Hornady's new 143 super match grade round...I would buy 1000 cases of this stuff and hoard it forever!! KEEP UP THE GROUNDBREAKING WORK HORNADY!! You guys are getting it WAY BEYOND RIGHT in this caliber, 17 HMR V MAX, 30/30, and especially the unbelievable 9mm Critical Defense rounds I use in my Walther CCP 9mm pistol. Buy these rounds for your 65 Creedmore without hesitation!!! Thanks!!
Good ammo, similar to the 140gr non- ELD variant which is now out of production.
