Customer Reviews

I just bought 2 cases. Mine are all brass cases. Great price for an excellent product. If you like .40 SW, them you will like these.
I got my case today and it was nice clean Ammo with brass casings, not nickel cases. I like the brass casing better personally because you get more reloads out of the brass, Nickel always cracks by the third load
Another satisfied customer here. Received my 500 round case this week and they were nickel plated. And the price is so great, that I use this ammo for both SD use and on the range. I keep trying to steer my shooting buddies to SG Ammo for these great buys, but they keep wanting to pay exorbitant prices at those local places I won't name.
Smooth transaction as usual. Received the nickel plated brass and it looks great. The box now lists the velocity as 985 fps instead of 990. I suspect that this is a more honest perspective than the 1025 fps spec for PDX1 ammo. Reviews I've seen with chronograph info show the PDX1 running about 970 to 990 fps out of a 4 inch barrel. Even 5 inch barrels don't seem to quite get to 1025 fps, although it is pretty close. My guess is that the FBI spec of 990 fps was closer to reality considering that most duty weapons have a 4 inch or so barrel (most guns with 5 inch barrels are pretty large for full time carry).
This an Update, I don't have to kick myself because I brought another case. Same quality ammo, Oh yea one other thing, I got lucky and both cases the brass is nickle plated. Once again a painless buy from SG Ammo.com. And a Happy Customer.
Got my case nice and fast from the brown truck. This ammo looks identical to the Ranger RA40T I have. So it does in fact appear to be from a government contract run. The label on the box is printed "personal protection" . I better hurry and order more or end up kicking myself when it is gone.
