This 30-06 Springfield ammo is brass case, non-corrosive boxer primed, and 100% non-magnetic for range safe and comes in commercial 20 round blue and white boxes. The manufacturer designed this ammo to be safe for use in M1 Garand rifles by reducing the pressure just a bit to replicate the original M2 ball type specifications, however this fine ammunition works well in any 30-06 rifle and is ideal ammo for target shooting at the range. The brass reloads well if you are into that and the non-corrosive priming can save you a lot of the clean-up pains that you may get if you buy older military surplus. These day the cost per round of this high quality new commercial 30-06 is about the same as what most surplus ammo dealers charge for questionable 30.06 military surplus ammunition that is often 40 to 50 years old. I bought several boxes for my 2 M1's. For the most part I had no problems. The only time I ended up with a problem was with one particular round that would not feed into the barrel and would jam the gun other than that no problems. I would still recommend this to anyone looking for affordable ammo.

Great ammo for my M1 Garand rifle. This ammo is"Garand safe" pressure level and shoots accurately. The delivery from SG ammo went quickly and smoothly. I am back to buy more ammo. Great prices on this ammo and all sorts of other ammo here too

Ammo fires clean and I have had great accuracy out of it so for this price I will be ordering more. I was also very happy with the quality of the packaging by sgammo and will not be going anywhere else for ammo again.

I just received my shipment of this ammo that is specific for the M1 Garand. I often prefer Boat Tail but wanted to give the PP3006G a try. It is incredibly accurate and consistent. I can reload if I choose to because the brass is pristine and chambered and extracted perfectly and boxer primed. My shipment was package with great care and always is with SGAmmo. You can tell they package with the intent to avoid mistakes and damage. Not all sellers take those steps. This ammo produced a solid group at 100 yards with iron sights with no flyers and no light strikes due to hard primers. Definitely the best prices online at SGAmmo and packaged with care. Couldn't be more pleased.

Took my National Match M1 Garand to the range this morning firing this ammo. I got excellent results from it. I have used PPU ammo in several other calibers, both rifle and pistol, and am very satisfied. I would put this ammo up against any commercial ammo. It fires clean and consistant. Just ordered several more boxes, get it while you can, it goes fast.

This is good, accurate, and inexpensive .30-06 that's safe to run in your old Garand. Took this stuff out to the range and put about 100 rounds through my CMP M-1 and each round functioned flawlessly with no FTE or FTF malfunctions. On a completely unrelated note, the rounds themselves are very pretty and shiny. Not what you would expect from discount ammo from Serbia(?). One more thing was that there was an unfamiliar odor emitted from the rounds when it was fired. Not unpleasant but just...different. I wouldn't say that these rounds leave any more crud in the action of my M-1 than the really nice Hornady Match rounds did, so clean-up is normal. In conclusion, I really liked this ammunition. I've since bought more in the white box for $1 less per 20. I toss the boxes almost immediately anyway since I keep my en blocs pre-loaded and ready to zip off to the range at a moment's notice. Stock up while you can!
