Tried this ammo in my AR 15 chambered for 7.62 X 39 Had some cycle issues at first.The Hollow point Overall length was .010 shorter then the pointed ammo i had been using. Ammo shoots really well for the price, allot more accurate then expected. Think I have the issues resolved now, Machinest by Trade and Engineer.

I hadn't played with an AK since Vietnam days until recently when I bought a couple of American made Century Arms C39 v2's. I purchased this ammo to run through the rifles and rekindled the love I have for this weapon. The ammo works flawlessly and while the the expansion of the round is minimal the wallop is impressive. My son-in-law brought an AR-15 in 5.56 down to the farm to shoot so I grabbed an AK to join in. His marksmanship leaves much to be desired. I have a tree that I use as a backstop for impromptu target practice that I also use to store a couple of backhoe buckets propped against the tree. My son-in-law managed to hit everything but the target with both rifles. Long story short, the 5.56 rounds bounced off the buckets but the 7.62 not only penetrated one side of a bucket it left an impressive dent in the other side. This with hollow points on 7/16ths steel plate!
When the grunts in Afghanistan began to complain about what a mismatch the 5.56 was compared to the 7.62 I could feel their pain. This ammo is as good as it gets and well worth the money. Look out ANTIFA. You gotta love SGAmmo, excellent prices and stellar service!

Ran this through my Ar 15 chambered in 7.62 and it was flawless, not one misfire or jam! Up until now I had issues with the less expensive Russian ammo in my AR but this works great!
