Anon and Anon: Guys, this are the days of the information super highway (ie. the internet). A 30 second search to the Magtech website would tell you this ammo is loaded to a MV of 1230FPS delivering 605ft-lbs of energy. https://magtechammunition.com/products/10mm-auto-180gr-fmj/ Since you both sound kinda new to this "shooting thing", that would make this load semi-"stout", but not nearly as "hot" as the old school 10mm loads (which are what 10mm really SHOULD be loaded to). Also, Anon#1, the shipping cost/case has always been shown right below the "add to cart" tab. Also, you DO know what words and letters like "180 grain FMJ" mean don't you? 20 boxes per 1000 round case (which is also clearly written) would mean how big are the individual boxes? (In case you are a Detroit Public School graduate, that would be 50 rounds/box). Also, there is no such thing as 10mm "+P", but I guarantee you that any ammo SG sells which IS "+P" rated, it IS definitely listed in their ammo description and it is also usually visible on the picture of the box which is also usually accurate (if the ammo is boxed for retail sales and not "bulk" packaged of course). I've been buying ammo from SG probably since they first opened their doors and their service and prices have always been the best to be found anywhere. So, in the odd/infrequent case where they don't spoon feed you every little bit of info about what you are looking to buy, MAN-UP and give them a little bit of a break, will ya'?
I have purchased a case of this 10mm and I have to agree with Anon about having more info on the loads...especially 10mm because you just don't know. Is it full power or FBI lite? I don't have a chrono so I can't figure it out myself. I love shooting this Magtech and everything else they make that I have shot is loaded kinda hot but I'd like to know for sure.
What we need listed on every sales post are: caliber; if it is standard pressure, plus p, or plus pressure plu; bullet type; bullet weight; feet per second; energy at muzzle; cost per bullet as listed, ie. box of xx, or case lot of xxxx; and seriously this should include freight, handling and shipping. I buy from multiple sites, I love SGAmmofor your low costs, nearly immediate delivery and service so good I have never had to call customer service, but I am positive it would be great. I think these improvements, very small tweaks, would help me and probably others, out alot Thanks for your time, Joe b
